To receive authorization for a return, please contact
sales@chownhardware.com or call 800-452-7634 and ask for online sales.
Returns for any stock items shipped from Chown inventory are allowed at full value minus a 25% restocking charge provided the product is in new, salable condition, in original packaging, and returned with authorization within 15 days.
For special order and non-stock items, please see the list below to determine if product can be returned and to determine the applicable restocking charges. If product is returnable, it must be returned to Chown in new, salable condition, in original packaging, and returned with authorization within 15 days.
All returns must be received, inspected and approved by Chown personnel before credit will be given. Returns must be received by Chown within 30 days of the date of the return authorization.
Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Chown Hardware will not be responsible for damage in transit back to Chown so care should be taken to ensure the product is well protected and packaged. All shipping charges for returns are at the sole expense of the purchaser and should be returned freight prepaid.
Claims of shortage or defect must be reported within 5 days of receiving.
Orders in process but not yet received by the customer must be cancelled within 24 hours of the order time to receive a full refund. After 24 hours all orders are non-cancellable and restocking charges may apply.
